Duane Goodrich Jr. is a proud 2026 recipient of the 7Artifacts Scholarship and a graduate of Achievable Dream High School in Newport News, Virginia, where he earned an impressive 3.37 GPA.

 

This fall, Duane will continue his educational journey at Old Dominion University, where he plans to major in Information Technology and pursue his goal of becoming an IT technician. Duane’s commitment to his education, determination to build a successful future, and vision for a career in technology embody the purpose of the 7Artifacts Scholarship Fund—supporting young people as they pursue their goals and begin creating a legacy of their own. We are proud to invest in Duane’s journey and look forward to seeing the mark he will leave on his campus, his community, and the world.

Micah Irby

Micah Irby is a proud 2026 recipient of the 7Artifacts Scholarship and a student at Norview High School and the Governor’s School for the Arts, where he is a member of the Instrumental Music Department.

 

A well-rounded student, Micah also competes as a varsity soccer player for Norview High School. With a passion for science that began in elementary school, Micah plans to major in Kinesiology at Howard University, with the long-term goal of becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy and opening his own practice. Beyond his career aspirations, Micah is committed to making a positive impact in his community by mentoring young people, serving as a positive role model, and helping provide opportunities that encourage them to make productive choices for their futures.

 

His resilience, dedication, and desire to use his education to serve others embody the mission of the 7Artifacts Scholarship Fund. We are proud to invest in Micah’s journey and look forward to seeing the mark he will leave on his community and the lives of those around him.
